Maybelline Clear Smooth All In One Shine Free Foundation
If you love Maybelline's Clear Smooth powder foundation, this new and improved version will not disappoint you. It has a pretty, pretty pink compact which can rival their Angelfit's with a refill that is so small, you can put it anywhere in your bag; and oh, it's the same size as their blushes. I love refills because I hate throwing compacts with mirrors which I already have a lot. I want to try this powder foundation first so I bought the cutie refill and fell in love with it.

Certified Nailaholic
Back in college; it's just french manicure for me or bare nails, but I recently found myself shopping for nail lacquers more often than make up. Though experimenting with different nail lacquer shades is my thing right now; I still prefer the glossy finish over the shimmer or frost trend these days. Like perfume, I can't seem to step outside without nail polish on my tips. Once in a while, I leave my nails unmanicured, but when the weekend starts, nail lacquers on!
OPI Dating A Royal
I got inspired with the royal fever that I bought the perfect shade =)

OPI Tickle My France-y
The PERFECT neutral shade I had ever tried, I can't stop looking at my nails wearing this nail lacquer. I feel sophisticated, chic and fresh and I can definitely have this nail colour at work. ♥
When I need to keep my budget on track, I shop on my beloved Etude House for my favorite nail polish shade that is affordable but has that nice quality. You can choose from matte, shimmer or glossy plus they have the cutest nail lacquer bottles. I love it that they have nail lacquers on small bottles.
The Petit Darling Nails High Beam costs only Php98 so you can definitely shop for more nail lacquer.

Kimbap: My New Guilty Pleasure
It's no surprise that Koreans already invade our everyday lives: from telenovelas, fashion and even food. I recently went on a food court of an SM mall and saw a stall of Mr. Kimbob. Even before, I wish that some would come up with Korean food on stalls like siomais on cart. The good thing about this is that they have a lot of choices and are affordable of course compared to authentic Korean restaurants. It's only Php70 for a whole platter or Php5 per piece! There are many versions of this dish alone so I had picked my favorite ingredients and I would like to do my own Kimbap at home so good luck to me!
Gimbap or Kimbap as known in Korea is one of their popular dish which is made of steamed rice (bap) and various ingredients rolled in a gim (sheets of dried laver seaweed) and cut in bite-size slices.
Ingredients:
dried seaweed
immitation crab sticks ( 3 sticks )
egg ( 2 )
long grain rice or any sticky rice ( 1 cup )
vinegar ( 1 tbsp. )
mirin ( 4tbsp.)
ripe mango ( 2 thin flesh cut to long strips )
spam or any luncheon meat ( 3 pieces cut to long strips )
canola oil ( 1 tsp. )
pinch of sugar
Sauce:
light soy sauce ( 1 tbsp. )
sesame oil ( 1/4 tsp. )
1. Boil rice ( 1 cup water = 1 cup rice ) in a rice cooker. Place the steaming tray of the cooker and put the crab sticks to be steam with the rice.
2. Whisk egg and add 2 tbsp. mirin and add a pinch of sugar. Pour canola oil on a non-stick pan and make an omelet over medium heat. Let it cool then cut to long strips.
3. Mix the rest of the mirin ( 2 tbsp ) over cooked rice with the vinegar and carefully mix or fold. Let it cool.
4. Get a sushi mat on top of a chopping board and prepare the dried seaweed.
5. Get a bowl of water to wet your hands so the rice wont stick to your hands. Spread a 1/3 cup of rice on the dried seaweed and arrange the other ingredients on top.
6. Roll the bamboo/sushi mat over and gently push to compact the rice and other ingredients together.
7. Get a sharp and moistened knife and cut it into small rolls.
8. For the sauce, mix the light soy sauce and sesame oil.
Enjoy!

Very Ethereal
Gone are the days when black and red gowns dominate the red carpet events; this time, celebrities are welcoming fresh and dainty outfits which I love. Think Demi Moore in Versace on the 2010 Academy Awards. Below is the collage I made to pull that same look courtesy of Polyvore. Enjoy

Wardrobe Essentials
It may be late but I am just beginning to stare at my closet and wonder what is missing. So, I went online and answered some quizzes about fashion personality and stumbled upon an article about wardrobe essentials. Yes, I am familiar with Tim Gunn but I failed to take note. I am a big fan of tailored clothes like blazers, LBD's and "the" perfect fit jeans. I may have an idea on what do I want and my body prefers to wear but I don't own the basics. So this year, I am investing on these and hopefully I could find one that is worthy of my every peso. Read: Classic, Chic and Sophisticated.
Topshop 3/4 Shrunken Sleeve Blazer
Topshop's blazer is around Php4,000, I still want to look for other brands with the same cut and quality maybe half the price.
Promod Tuxedo Style Jacket
Old Navy Poplin-stretch Top
I was told that poplin-stretch is good for my pear-shape body type.
Enzo Angiolini Maylie Peep-Toe Pumps
My Imeldific side is wanting this lovely shoes for months. I have seen lots of black peep-toes but I badly want this particular one-the simple 3" covered heel, ample toe room and sleek leather material. It is a non-conformist type of shoes that you can wear anywhere, day or night, whether you're in a lovely dress, shorts, skinny jeans or tailored suits. This, I am convince, will worth my every peso so I am very willing to invest. I love my feet that much!
Banana Republic classic round-toe flat in Pewter
This is so fab and still fits the basic. If you want your heels-free day, this is a sure bet. I am planning to wear this on travelling because it is very chic and comfy and the color is very pretty .

My 3 Favorite Dog Breeds
![]() |
| Coton de Tuléar |
I simply love this breed because they are sooo cute! I love to hug them. They have a very soft hair, comparable to a cotton ball, a black nose, large expressive eyes (usually covered by bangs) and short puffy legs. Did I mention they don't shed? Like really? They're considered to be hypoallergenic with no particular doggie smell. Wow! That's a major plus. The Cotie as they are affectionately called is a playful and intelligent breed. They can have what they called separation anxiety because of their attachment to people. It is a very vocal breed, grunting and making noises when having fun. Some Cotons have a habit of jumping up and walking on their hind legs to please people. Some Cotons may exhibit shyness or cautiousness in new situations, especially around strangers, which can usually be overcome with training. Most Cotons love meeting new people and are very curious. The dogs are very trainable with praise, instead of punishment. Cotons are great with kids and love to play.

| Chow-Chow |
This is the very first dog breed that I like because of their bear-like appearance, neither did I know about their bear-like temperament too. The chow is loyal and affectionate to their owners only, so guests should beware. Their eyes should be deep set and almond in shape. Chows are distinguished by their famous blue-black/purple tongue, that extends to their lips. Did you know that according to a DNA analysis, they are the oldest breeds of dog? Cool.
Famous owners: Martha Steward, Janet Jackson and the late Elvis Presley
