Recessionista Files - Shoes

Women can't get enough of shoes and we don't even care if a pair cost a lot. But in this time of financial crisis, we all must be a Recessionista - a person who is able to stick to a tight budget and still dress stylishly. - wiktionary

Women actually just need not more than 7 pair of shoe
s. It is the foundation of a stylish and functional wardrobe that won't hurt your budget. Just make sure that it fits perfectly or comfortable, stylish and the price is just right.

1. the basic black pumps

I call it basic because every woman should have this. Good for work or any special occasion which can be paired with just about any like tailored skirts, pants and even on jeans. Black peep-toe pumps are making waves too.

2. dress shoes

Invest in a gold or silver metallic color which can stand out on any given semi or formal occasion. Just make sure that the straps are thin enough for formal or semi
-formal occasion.

3. low heeled shoes

Some love the ballerina or flat shoes, but I am not comfortable with t
hem because it does not have enough support on my feet. So I choose the low-heeled shoes especially for traveling when you have to walk a lot. Purchase neutral color shoes first so you can easily pair them with any outfit.

4. knee high boots

These knee length boots are an Angelina Jolie staple, just right for making statements. If you are in a foreign country such as in the US or Europe, they love to use this all the time especially in winter. Have them with your jeans or a dress.

5. rubber shoes

Great for just about any outdoor activities. Be it jogging, trips to the woods, working out or playing any sports.

6. Sandals

When hot summer sun comes, sandals is our best footwear. Perfect for going to the beach in your maxi sundress, shopping, buying groceries. Be sure to have a clean feet and well-manicured nails, because everything can be seen.
