Kojiesan Hand Sanitizer in Mint Leaf

 

I am a believer of clean and germ-free hands,not to mention that I want it soft and smooth too. I admit that I am so picky and there are a lot of hand sanitizers in the market today so I don't know which one to choose. I've tried three to five hand sanitizer brands, but I got tired of their scents and the unscented stinks after a while. So, I switch to alcohol, which we all know can make your hands dry after applying more than two times. Until I bought the August issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, they had their annual beauty awards and I can't wait to try the products. This year, Kojiesan hand sanitizer in mint leaf grab the hand gel award. Mint leaf? Cool! Gotta try it. This variant are not available in some stores because apparently it is selling like hotcakes. I tried Watsons and I was lucky, they have the 50 and 100 ml price at Php30 and Php50 respectively so I guess you should buy the bigger one because of the little difference on price. I bought a small bottle first and so far I love it, the mint leaf's fragrance is a great alternative to cloying sweet scents that others have. I purchase the big bottle for home use and a small one to stash in my purse.

My 3 Favorite Dog Breeds

 

Coton de Tuléar

I simply love this breed because they are sooo cute! I love to hug them. They have a very soft hair, comparable to a cotton ball, a black nose, large expressive eyes (usually covered by bangs) and short puffy legs. Did I mention they don't shed? Like really? They're considered to be hypoallergenic with no particular doggie smell. Wow! That's a major plus. The Cotie as they are affectionately called is a playful and intelligent breed. They can have what they called separation anxiety because of their attachment to people. It is a very vocal breed, grunting and making noises when having fun. Some Cotons have a habit of jumping up and walking on their hind legs to please people. Some Cotons may exhibit shyness or cautiousness in new situations, especially around strangers, which can usually be overcome with training. Most Cotons love meeting new people and are very curious. The dogs are very trainable with praise, instead of punishment. Cotons are great with kids and love to play.

Chow-Chow

This is the very first dog breed that I like because of their bear-like appearance, neither did I know about their bear-like temperament too. The chow is loyal and affectionate to their owners only, so guests should beware. Their eyes should be deep set and almond in shape. Chows are distinguished by their famous blue-black/purple tongue, that extends to their lips. Did you know that according to a DNA analysis, they are the oldest breeds of dog? Cool.

Golden Retriever

My most favorite breed of all is the famous, the homeboy - the Goldens. Golden Retriever have 3 types of appearance: British, American and Canadian. A Golden Retriever of British breeding can have a coat colour of any shade of gold or cream. The Americans has coat that is dense and water repellent, in various shades of lustrous gold, with moderate feathering. The Canadian Retrievers are similar to the American but darker in colour. Golden Retriever is a kindly, friendly and confident breed. They love both strangers and those familiar to them or their owners. The typical Golden Retriever is calm, naturally intelligent and biddable, with an exceptional eagerness to please.

Excitement hits me when I saw this picture in the Just Jared website. I mean of course they are Robert and Kristen but they dress like Edward and Bella, so Breaking Dawn is coming! While waiting though, Bella's dress caught me off guard, although I think it looks a little mature for Bella Swan's character but it is so sophisticated and I  love every fiber of  it. I search online and found out that this ensemble came from Michael Kors' Fall collection. So, I though of  having my own version of  Bella Swan.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation

 

Finding the right foundation is such a pivotal task for me because my skin is so oily. I always end up buying those that has thick consistency with a whitish or pinkish cast on my face so I read blog post about foundation and stumble upon Revlon Colorstay. I had doubt using liquid foundation because I know they are created for normal or dry skin only but I went ahead and gave it a try. They have the shades of  Ivory, Buff, Sand Beige, Nude, Natural Beige (my shade), Medium Beige and Fresh Beige although some are not available in the Philippines. But you could always ask the beauty assistant for your particular shade and I know some who mix two shades for their perfect colour. I use my fingers applying it or sometimes my foundation brush and then I soften the make up by sponge. Did I mention that the make up last for the whole day? you don't need to re-touch every now and then, just powder your face after and your all set. It was by far the best foundation I had tried and I must say with certainty, I will stick to this product.

Likes:

• Oil-Free  
• Colour - although I was scared using beige, it did not gave me a whitish cast face.
• Coverage - build the coverage from sheer/light to heavy/full.  
• Price - under Php1000 make up products is such a steal for me.

Dislikes:

• Packaging - the bottle does not contain a pump so I end up pouring a lot of  it on the back of my hand, but through practice I was able to get the hang of it. 
• Smell - a plastic-like scent at first but after a while it's fine.

My Cinderella Moment

Platform Peep Toe Pumps

The first time I saw this gorgeous pumps in Forever 21's  website, I already wanted to have one. When Forever 21 Megamall held it's first sale, I went and saw it! Wow, I told myself. I'm like a little girl who saw a Barbie doll for the first time. When I took it, it's size 7,the only pair left according to a saleslady and not in my size! There are about 20 black and brown's but I wanted the taupe one, talk about luck! I left it in the table feeling sulky especially when I saw a girl that grab it, tried it and went straight to the cashier. I am laughing and feeling sad at the same time :) Obviously,  a lot of Filipina loves a taupe platform peep toe so Forever 21 might consider having another batch to sell. Hopefully, fingers crossed. And this time, I am the first in line! :)

These are from Forever 21's website. Most of them are new arrivals so I am expecting that it would take weeks or even months for them to be available in the Megamall. I will patiently wait and save of course :)

My Hair Loves L'Oréal

L'Oréal's Total Repair 5 hair care product range was in the Philippines' market for quite a long time now, so when young actress and TV Host Anne Curtis was introduced as it's endorser, more Filipina became curious including me. Of all the Elseve variants, I choose the Total Repair 5 because 5 hair care problems-one solution. :) No second thoughts, I purchased a small bottle (sachets were not available before) and test it. And boy! I was so happy I did. My hair became very soft, shiny and silky in just 3 washes. Although it is a little bit expensive compared to other shampoos, you just need a small amount of it. After my first bottle, I purchased the biggest one and it took me almost 3 months to finish it. I will not go back to my old brand of shampoo, I just love the feel and smell of  my hair now.

I admit, having my all time favorite Penélope Cruz as one of  L'Oréal's endorser makes me more excited to buy the L'oreal Elseve Re-Nutrition Replenishing Hair Mask with Royal Jelly. I just love, love Penélope's long, thick and brown wavy hair. The mask is much expensive of course so since it is a weekly treatment, I opt for the sachet. It is just Php19 in Watsons, just right for everyone's beauty budget and the mask amount is enough for those long hair. Leaving it for 20 minutes as opposed to 5 minutes, my hair is bouncy, soft and the smell is so divine. I always receive complements about my hair's softness and smell these days so I know I am using one of the best.
